STOVETOP MACARONI AND CHEESE


INGREDIENTS


  • 10-12 ounces shells macaroni pasta
  • 1 large bunch Swiss or rainbow chard, chopped
  • 1/2 lemon, juice only
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs, toasted
